Arriva Bus for Manchester - Standing Strong Together

To honour the lives lost, and those injured in the horrific attack on Manchester, Arriva North West will be offering free transport to all those attending the Manchester One Love concert on Sunday 4th June.

Passengers travelling on the number 263 will be able to travel free, to and from the concert, upon presenting their concert admission ticket to the driver. Service 263 runs between Altrincham and Manchester Piccadilly, passing through Sale, Stretford and Old Trafford – passengers should alight at the Warwick Road stop.

Arriva have also shown their support for the city by updating bus artwork on services operating in the Manchester area to help unite the city during this difficult time.

Phil Cummins, Area Managing Director, Arriva North West commented: "To commemorate the lives of those lost in the attack on Manchester, our buses operating in the Manchester area will bear the message ‘Standing Strong Together’, to show our support during this difficult time.”

The destination boards on service 263 have also been changed to read: “Arriva supporting #Manchester“ and will continue to do so for the next few weeks.
