For over 150 years, the world’s best players have faced the unrelenting challenge of links golf at The Open, golf’s oldest championship. Situated in the North-West coast of England, Royal Birkdale is one of the world’s most magnificent courses, located on a rolling landscape near the town of Southport, 20 miles north of Liverpool City Centre.
Now hosting for its 10th time from 16th-23rd July, the site invites golf fans to witness the world’s greatest players tackle one of golf’s most challenging courses.

This service operates every 20 minutes operating directly to Birkdale from Lord Street (Monument), taking approximately 15 minutes. The return trip from Birkdale back to Lord Street also operates a 20 minute service and takes approximately 25 minutes as it operates via Ocean Plaza.
