Service changes in Darlington and Stockton from 21 July 2019

Location: Darlington, Stockton, Durham

Passengers are advised that the following services will be revised with effect from Sunday 21 July 2019:

Service 43 Durham – Broompark – Ushaw Moor – Esh Winning

This service will run to a slightly revised timetable at Esh Winning to improve the punctuality. The Saturday journeys at 0815 from Durham to Esh Winning and 0842 from Esh Winning to Durham are also withdrawn due to low usage. Click here to download the new timetable.

Service 48 Durham – Bearpark – Ushaw Moor – New Brancepeth

This service will run to a slightly revised timetable between Durham and Bearpark to improve punctuality. Buses will also serve the stops at Cross Valley Court on the A167 near Neville’s Cross. Click here to download the new timetable.

Service 49/49A Durham – Langley Moor – Meadowfield – Brandon

This service will have a revised timetable to improve punctuality. Most Monday to Friday morning commuter journeys will run up to five minutes earlier to give buses more time to recover from delays along the route. Also, following customers’ requests, the Monday to Friday journeys at 0545 and 0645 from Durham will run as service 49A not 49. As a result, the bus at 0615 from Durham will be a 49 not a 49A. Service X46 Durham – Langley Moor – Meadowfield – Willington – Crook – Tow Law – Stanhope

This service will have a revised timetable to improve punctuality. Some Monday to Friday morning commuter journeys will arrive in Durham up to five minutes later due to the growing traffic congestion around Langley Moor and Neville’s Cross. Click here to download the new timetable.

Service 3/3A Skerne Park to Mowden/Harrowgate Farm

A revised weekday morning timetable will be in place following feedback received regarding the arrival times for Hummersknott School. The revised timetable will hopefully make these journeys easier for students by running marginally earlier than they do now. Click here to see the download the new timetable.

Service 4 Darlington to Minors Crescent

There will be a revised Monday to Friday timetable in place on this service, which will see buses operating up to every 12 minutes during Monday to Saturday daytimes. Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday timetables are unchanged. Click here to download the new timetable.

Service 7/7A Stockton to Yarm

There will be a revised timetable in place on this service, which will see buses operating up to every 12 minutes during Monday to Saturday daytimes. An additional journey from Yarm to Stockton at 23:32, operating as a Service 7, is introduced on Monday to Saturday evenings. Click here to download the new timetable.

Evening and Sunday Service 7A is unchanged and will continue to operate hourly.

Service 9/10 Darlington to Springfield/Whinfield

There will be a revised timetable in place on this service, which will see buses operating up to every 12 minutes during Monday to Friday daytimes. The combined frequency between Service 9 and 10 will be revised to see buses operating up to every 6 minutes along Haughton Road. Click here to download the new timetable.

Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday timetables are unchanged and will continue to operate as they do now.

Service 13A/13B Darlington to Firth Moor

There will be a revised timetable in place on this service, which will see buses operating up to every 12 minutes on each service during Monday to Friday daytimes. The combined frequency between Service 13A and 13B will be revised to see buses operating up to every 6 minutes along Neasham Road. Click here to download the new timetable.

Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday timetables are unchanged and will continue to operate as they do now.

Service 15 Roseworth to Ingleby Barwick

There will be a revised timetable in place on this service, which will see buses operating up to every 10 minutes during Monday to Saturday daytimes. Click here to download the new timetable.

Morning and early evening extensions to and from North Tees Hospital are withdrawn, however buses will continue to observe the hospital grounds on Sundays as they do now.

The frequency of service to Bassleton Court and Cunningham Drive will be revised to run every 20 minutes, with buses combining into an up to every 10 minute frequency between Thornaby Town Centre and Roseworth, via Stockton.

In Ingleby Barwick, buses will be revised to operate up to every 20 minutes, an improvement over their current twice an hour frequency.

Sunday and evening services are unchanged, with buses running up to every 30 minutes between Roseworth and Thornaby.

Revised timetables are available on our website now and printed versions will be available on bus, in our local travel shops and usual stockists in the run up to the changes.
