Start Date: 01/11/2018
End Date: 22/11/2018
Information relating to minor service revisions in Darlington & Peterlee from 30 August 2015.
From Sunday 30th August 2015, we're making a few small changes to the following services in Darlington and Peterlee;
We're extending certain morning and afternoon peak journeys from Bishop Auckland Bus Station to Bishop Auckland College in order to cater for students who attend the college from the Shildon & Darlington areas.
There is a very minor revision to the normal timetable to allow for this.
For operational reasons, we regret that some journeys may need to operate marginally later than they do now. Journeys will leave Darlington on an evening at 55 minutes past the hour.
We're extending certain morning and afternoon peak journeys from Bishop Auckland Bus Station to Bishop Auckland College in order to cater for students who attend the college from the Shildon, Newton Aycliffe & Darlington areas.
Furthermore, to co-incide with the opening of the Hitachi site in Newton Aycliffe Industrial Estate, Service 5/5A journeys will be revised to operate via Millenium Way, Long Tens Way & Heighington Way instead.
There is a revised timetable in place to allow for this, with additional journey time added to our evening service to further improve punctuality.
As part of a new agreement with East Durham College, we're making a small revision to the route and timetable of Service X21 to accomodate students travelling from Seaham to Peterlee.
One journey in each direction per day (on college days) will operate as Service X22 between Peterlee and Sunderland, however will operate to a revised route via Seaham instead of the A19. Outside of college days, all journeys will operate as Service X21, as per current arrangements.
A revised timetable will therefore be in effect, however most journeys will be unchanged.
