Diversion of Service 15 and 21A in Stockton from 23rd May 2016
Start Date: 01/11/2018
End Date: 22/11/2018
Information regarding diversion of Service 15 and 21A in Stockton, from 23rd May 2016.
From Monday 23rd May 2016, Service 15 and 21A will be required to commence a long term diversion, due to the closure of Durham Road at Londonderry Bridge, for bridge replacement works.
The diversion in place will be as follows;
Service 15 will divert between Appleton Road and Stockton High Street via the Durham Road Bypass A177. The service will observe stops along the section of Durham Road to the north of Appleton Road, but will then run non-stop to Stockton High Street. This arrangement will apply in both directions.
Due to the significance of the diversion, we are forced to revise the timetable to accomodate extra journey time required, which will see journey time between Roseworth, Ragworth and Stockton, increased by around 3 minutes compared to now.
There will be a full timetable revision, including Sundays & evenings to accomodate this change. Revised timetables will be available very soon.
Service 21A will simply divert via the Durham Road Bypass A177 in both directions and will omit the southern section of Durham Road in full. There will be no change to the timetable.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but regrettably these works are beyond our control.
Revised timetables are available on our website and in local travel shops and usual stockists.
