Service X93 Summer Timetable & Whitby Park & Ride

From Sunday 29th March until Sunday 1st November, we're running extra journeys on Service X93, plus a revised route and timetable for Whitby Park & Ride.

We've taken the decision to commence operation of the summer X93 timetable, earlier than originally planned, due to feedback we have recieved from our passengers.

This means that for even longer this year, we will be operating up to every 30 minutes between Middlesbrough, Guisborough, Whitby & Scarborough, seven days a week - there really is no excuse not to explore the glorious Yorkshire Coast!

Service X93 operates with MAX specification vehicles on the vast majority of journeys, which feature a striking new livery, more powerful engines, comfortable e-leather seating and free WiFi. We're also working to introduce Next Stop Announcements to the service too, so watch this space!

With all of that and our great value all day (£7.70) and family all day (£13.50) tickets available, there really is no excuse to not spend a day out on the Yorkshire Coast!

 

Also, from Sunday 29th March we're commencing operation of the Whitby Park & Ride, which following a successful first year last year, we anticipate it will be just as busy this year!

There is a slight change to operation compared to last year however;

  • Service P1 and will operate from the Park & Ride site via West Cliff and St Hildas Terrace and Whitby Bus Station, before heading directly back to the Park & Ride site, in a circular route.

  • Service P2 will operate directly between the Park & Ride site and Whitby Bus Station and will omit West Cliff.

 

Both services will continue to provide a combined 15 minute frequency, but at busy times and across the summer school holidays, this will increase to a minimum 10 minute frequency between the Park & Ride site and Whitby.

We're currently preparing everything for the start of the new season, so keep your eyes open for our new livery!
