Travelling around Yarm
Yarm is located in the county of North Yorkshire on the East Coast of England. Lying on the south bank of the River Tees, this pleasant market town is full of old-world charm, with cobbled streets, scenic walks and sumptuous Georgian architecture. With the beautiful North Sea coast just a few miles away, a stunning 18th-century clock tower and the remarkable Yarm viaduct spanning the River Tees, there’s plenty to admire in this idyllic northern town.
Yarm has excellent road and rail links and Arriva buses operate in the area, providing services in and around the town centre, as well as routes to nearby towns and villages.
Lower Gillingham to Walderslade
via Grange Road, the Strand, Liberty Quays, Gillingham, Medway Maritime Hospital, Chatham Hill and Chatham then 176 via Maidstone Road, Huntsman's Corner, Walderslade Road, Weeds Wood and Walderslade Village OR 177 via Luton Road, Wayfield, Weeds Wood and Walderslade Village. Some buses extend to Fostington Wood and Alexandra Hospital.
Latest Service Updates
North Tyneside Council is closing several roads in Wallsend, Tynemouth and Whitley Bay from Wednesday 1st July 2020 to allow more space for social distancing. As a result, services 51, 306 and 553 will have revised routes and stopping arrangements in these areas.
