1st Saturday of each month, 9am – 4pm
A crafty market featuring arts, crafts, collectables, vintage items, antiques, jewellery and anything else that's a bit different.
Captain Cook Museum
The Museum is in the 17th century house in Grape Lane on Whitby's harbourside where the young James Cook lodged as apprentice. It was here that Cook trained as a seaman and acquired those maritime skills which led to his epic voyages of discovery.
X93 Sightseeing Tour
Whitby and Scarborough
This spectacular tour runs every day between Whitby and Scarborough with commentary provided on the dramatic cliffs, castle headland, award winning beaches and historic harbour. Selected services only.

A street market with a delightful mix of vendors held along Chaloner Street in Guisborough. Offering everything to tempt the taste buds, pamper gifts and pieces of art.
Whitby Traction Engine Rally
Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th August
The venue, for Whitby Traction Engine Rally, is located next to Whitby Abbey, approximately 5 minutes walk from the centre of the popular tourist town of Whitby. A full programme of top steam fair attractions including: Tractor Pulling, Steam Engines, Classic Cars, Vintage Tractors, Classic Motorcycles, Fairground Organs, Miniature Steam Engines, Stationary Engines and Vintage Commercials can be seen.
Festival of Thrift 2019
