Students studying at Bishop Auckland College and South West Durham Training will be able to travel for free** on all Arriva North East services in order to make their journey to and from campus as simple as possible!

Simply show your Campus ID card to the driver then sit back, relax and enjoy the journey. We offer a comprehensive network of services within County Durham, along with some dedicated college day only services and journeys designed to ensure as many students as possible can benefit.

With your Campus ID card, you can travel on all Arriva services in the area, but we've put together a summary of services below that are available to get you to and from the campuses (simply click on the service to view the timetable).

The services below run into Bishop Auckland from various surrounding towns, cities and villages. Most will pass either close to the Woodhouse Lane Campus or offer a good connection in the bus station to continue your journey. Some of the services operate from the bus station and additionally serve the Woodhouse Lane Campus grounds at peak times too, making your journey even easier!



Summary of Services between Bishop Auckland Bus Station and College Grounds

The below table summarises journeys between the college site and Bishop Auckland Bus Station on Monday to Friday college days, in both the morning and afternoon peak time. Services arrive from and continue on to their respective destinations as per service number, however they form a common corridor below to allow students to get to/from the bus station and connect to/from other services, such as Service 56 to Ferryhill or X1 to Crook & Tow Law for example.
