Bus Travel in Tynemouth

Get a taste of the past and present in Tynemouth

Tynemouth has origins dating back to the 7th century when a monastery was built on the outskirts of the modern town. Highlights include Tynemouth Castle, said to be the resting place of some of England's earliest kings, Northumberland Park, with its abundant herb garden and woodland trails, and the Blue Reef Aquarium, a perfect place to take the kids. Head to 'the village' for food and drink after a long day of exploring.

Our regular bus route, which connects Tynemouth with Newcastle, is ideal when planning a day out in the area. Why not leave the car at home and let someone else do the driving instead?
