Bus Travel in Peterlee

Home to fossil hunting, beach walks and birdwatching

Peterlee is a New Town in County Durham and also one of the few towns in England to be named after a person - Peter Lee, the celebrated Durham miners’ leader. Denemouth South has three nature reserves: Horden (a shingle beach) is great for walks and Easington Beach is a popular spot for fossil hunters.

We offer bus routes which connect Peterlee with nearby towns and villages, as well as regular routes to Durham, Sunderland, Hartlepool and Middlesbrough. A bus is a perfect solution to avoid the hassle of finding a parking space, so why not give it a try?
