Arriva North East - Frequenta
Frequenta it's a numbers game
Arriva North East is excited to announce the launch of its new ‘Frequenta’ branding, promoting its high frequency network of services in and out of Darlington, which were revamped in May, providing new cross-town links.
To officially launch the services, local students from Mount Pleasant Primary School took part in a huge, oversized board game, where they won lots of fun prizes. Twins, Brooklyn and Bailey Whitehead also won the star prize - a family trip to Flamingo Land!
All the buses have had a striking makeover, which sees them promote the network of bus services available across the town. Frequenta has seen Arriva North East working in partnership with Connect Tees Valley in order to help promote and enhance local bus services across the town.
Nick Knox, area managing director for Arriva North East said: “We are really passionate about the service we deliver to our local communities and Frequenta is really going to help us promote the high frequency network of routes that run throughout the town and beyond. We’re confident more and more people we realise the benefits of using buses, knowing that on most routes in the town they can just turn up at their bus stop and know that there are buses up to every 5 and 10 minutes throughout the day. The high frequency of the services also provides a convenient connection onto our premium service Sapphire and the MAX network allowing customers to travel to towns and cities across the region
Frequenta is being introduced on the following services:
Service 2: Red Hall and Branksome into Darlington (up to every 10 minutes)
Service 3: Skerne Park into Darlington (up to every 10 minutes)
Service 4: Minor’s Crescent into Darlington (up to every 10 minutes)
Services 9,10: Haughton Road into Darlington (up to every 5 minutes)
Service 13 – Firth Moor into Darlington (up to every 5 minutes)
In addition, buses on North Road operate up to every 7/8 minutes.
