We're making changes in Derby from 29 October 2017
Start Date: 29/10/2017
We're making changes to services 4, 4A, 7 and The F1 from 29 October.
4 / 4A - Derby to Osmaston and Alvaston
This service is being revised with most journeys operating between the City Centre (Babbington Lane), Osmaston, and Alvaston Blue Peter only. Customers may connect with service F1 at the Blue Peter for travel to Pride Park.
Journeys to Raynesway Industrial Estate / Derby Commercial Park are withdrawn following the end of the contract to provide this service.
Evening and Sunday journeys will continue to extend via Pride Park to Derby Bus Station at times when the F1 doesn't operate.
7 - Derby to Normanton and Sinfin
The city centre terminus is reverting back to Babbington Lane due to ongoing congestion in the Bus Station. Derby City Council are working to improve the waiting environment for customers boarding services here; alternatively buses also stop around the corner on the Osmaston Road side of The Spot.
Services 4 and 7 will combine to provide a joint 7/8 minute frequency from Babbington Lane along Normanton Road to The Cavendish.
F1 (The Fast 1) - Derby to Alvaston FAST
There are changes to the timetable to improve punctuality, particularly during the morning peak.
The service will now call at the P&R Car Park as it travels across Pride Park, replacing service 4 during Monday to Saturday daytimes. This also provides a new direct link from Boulton and Alvaston to Derby Arena.
