Service 158 changes from 31 January 2015

Back to updates

We’re making a few changes to service 158 the popular bus service linking Leicester with Hinckley and Nuneaton calling at Braunstone Cross Roads, Leicester Forest East, Earl Shilton and Barwell. The new timetable is being introduced on 31 January 2015.

Service 158 will be retimed to improve reliability.  Most evening and Sunday journeys that currently terminate in Hinckley town centre will be extended to Coventry Road/Harrowbrook Road.

Arriva Midlands has a great range of multi-journey saver tickets for the regular traveller – making travel by bus a viable alternative to using the car!

Bus travel in and around the Hinckley Local Area is so easy with our great range of multi-journey saver tickets – here’s one example where you can SAVE BIGTIME - our Hinckley Local 4-Weekly Saver is only £45 providing 28 consecutive days travel across the Hinckley Local Saver area – that’s only £1.60 per day – and it’s valid on Hinckleybus services also - making bus travel a viable alternative to using the car. Go on, get on board!

New timetable leaflets will be available soon from most local libraries and our travel shop in St Margaret’s Bus Station, Leicester.

Steve Smith, Leicester Area Manager of Arriva Midlands said: “Arriva Midlands monitors its bus services at regular intervals following recent monitoring the need to make changes to service 158 has been highlighted to ensure we continue to provide a regular, punctual and robust service that our customers expect and deserve.”
