Travelling around Ironbridge
Found right in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the town of Ironbridge is a place that’s literally surrounded by history. Sitting on the River Severn, the area developed next to its 30-metre long namesake that opened in 1781.
Although relatively small, the area has excellent access to public transport. Those using an Arriva bus service will be able to come and go as they please. Routes take you out of the town towards places such as Wolverhampton, Telford, Bridgnorth and more.
