Our Spring Family Day Ticket Offer in the Midlands

Now that spring is here once again, what could be a better way to shake off the winter blues than a proper day out? With the weather clearing up and the sun finally peeking out, we’ve come up with a few day-out ideas to put the new season to good use. Why not really invest free time – fill up your schedule, hop on the bus and have some fun this spring!

Drayton Manor

One of the UK’s best-loved theme parks, Drayton Manor is home to all manner of thrills and spills – from white knuckle rollercoasters to family-friendly activities. For the little ones, there is Thomas Land, a series of rides and activities dedicated to every child’s favourite animated train. From bumper cars to mini rollercoasters, there’s loads to keep the smallest members of the family enrapt and entertained.

And for those of you who want something a little more pulse-racing, there is Shockwave – Europe’s only stand-up rollercoaster. Reaching speeds of over 50mph, the coaster has a unique zero-gravity roll element which cannot be found anywhere else in the world – perfect for the thrill-seekers amongst you.

Ironbridge Gorge

The home and birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, Ironbridge Gorge has played a pivotal role in Britain’s history and heritage. Explore the industries which helped make Britain a global force, in a series of museums and enrichment centres around Ironbridge Gorge.

There are 10 amazing attractions within the Ironbridge Gorge site. The Blists Hill Victorian Town lets you enjoy a typical day in the 1800s, popping in and out of traditional shops and watching local craftsman carry out time-honoured tasks. And the Tar Tunnel is one of the more bizarre parts of Ironbridge Gorge, an ancient mining tunnel with tar oozing from the walls.

Kids will love all the activities on offer at Ironbridge Gorge, and won’t even realise they’re learning at the same time!
