From Sunday 3rd September there will be some changes to bus services in the area:
SB4 & SB5 will no longer serve Bedwell in the evenings or Sunday.
SB6 will be run by another provider on behalf of HCC.
For Arriva customers Bedwell will be served by SB7 seven days a week every 30 minutes and hourly in the evenings and Sundays.
SB7 will no longer operate as a circular service but instead run to a new route from the Bus Station via Bedwell, Pin Green and Great Ashby. The service will terminate at Manchester Close and return the same route as outward. Customers in Great Ashby will need to board the bus on the opposite side of Great Ashby Way to current.
SB8 will be revised to serve Symonds Green, Old Town and Bus Station only. Daytime journeys will no longer serve Bragbury End. HCC Service 907 will continue to provide a service to Bragbury End. Hertfordshire contract journeys on Monday to Saturday evenings will continue to run to Bragbury End as normal.
SB11 will be run by another provider on behalf of HCC
Services 97A and 98A will be renumbered. Purwell Lane Estate will be served by Service 97 and Service 98 will operate along Hitchin Road.
Additionally, there will be timetable changes to services SB1, SB2, SB3, 55 and 100/101.
