Services 63 and 64a
Roadworks at Normanby
There will be two separate road closures at Normanby for carriageway reconstruction weeks affecting services 63 and 64A.
From Monday 3 June until Saturday 8 June service 63 will divert between Normanby and Eston via Normanby Road, Fabian Road and Church Lane – the stop at Chancel Way will be served on the diversion. Service 64A will divert via Church Lane and Fabian Road.
From Monday 10 June until Friday 14 June a temporary timetable will be in operation on service 63. It will run non-stop between Eston and Ormesby High Street via the A174 and A171. In Eston journeys towards Middlesbrough will serve Stop B. Whilst it is expected the road will reopen on Thursday 13 June we will continue to divert until end of service on Friday 14 June. Later Evening journeys on these dates will run hourly in both directions between Middlesbrough and Redcar, and up to every 30 minutes between Middlesbrough and Ormesby.
From Sunday 16 June Evening and Sunday 64A journeys will once again serve Bankfields. Due to forthcoming roadworks Monday to Saturday daytime journeys will continue to run their present route via Eston to Norman Conquest.
