Service Changes in Stevenage and North Hertfordshire
From 2 November 2025
As from 2nd November certain services will be reduced in frequency and some of the lesser used evening journeys will be withdrawn. You can find all of the information about these changes below:
| 55 | Revised timetable Monday to Friday + the Saturday timetable will be reduced to every hour. (alternative service between Stevenage & Letchworth provided by HCC contract service 92) |
| 100/101 | Service 101 will no longer serve Stopsley although Service 100 will continue to do so. New service 101A will serve Stopsley Gt Offley and Lilley. There will also be a revised timetable Monday to Saturday to improve punctuality with most journeys to now run through to Luton Airport on Sundays |
| 97 | Early morning and evening journeys are to be withdrawn due to low passenger use. Other journeys will be slightly revised for punctuality. The Saturday service is to be rerouted via Highfield as service 97B |
| 98 | The 5.55pm Journey is to be withdrawn Monday to Friday with the Saturday service withdrawn (alternative service between Letchworth and Baldock provided by bus 92) |
| SB1 | Monday – Friday 11.30pm journey is to be withdrawn with other journeys retimed daily. The Saturday afternoon service is to be reduced to every 30 minutes alongside the evening service (after 8.10pm on Sundays) to be withdrawn due to low use. |
| SB2/3 | Services 2/3 will be reduced to every 30 minutes, they will still provide a combined 15 minute frequency on Saturdays, however the 11pm journey will be withdrawn on Sundays. |
| SB4/5 | The 5.49am SB4 journey is to be withdrawn Monday to Friday. The 11pm and 11.32pm journeys are to be withdrawn on Monday to Friday. In addition the service is to be reduced to every 30 minutes on a Saturday, providing a combined service of every 15 minutes. 11pm journey is to be withdrawn on Saturdays alongside the 1045pm and 11.15pm journeys on Sundays |
| SB7 | This service is to be reduced to hourly on Saturdays with the 11.30pm journey withdrawn Monday to Saturday. The 8.45pm, 9.45pm and 10.45pm journeys are to be withdrawn on a Sunday due to low passenger use. |
| SB8 | The 5.54am, 6.24am and 6.50am journeys are to be withdrawn Monday to Friday as well as the 6.50am and 7.20am journeys on a Saturday. |
| 908 | This service is to be replaced by a new service 400. |
| 301 | There will be a revised Sunday timetable to assist with punctuality of the service. (This change may mean that journeys run up to 5 minutes earlier than their current timings) |
