Service Changes in Buckinghamshire

From Sunday 17th April 2022.

We’re making changes to some routes and timetables in Buckinghamshire  from 17 April 2022.

Services which are changing are listed below; if your local service is not listed then there are no changes at this time.

Changes in the Aylesbury area

Service 9 – Aylesbury to Stoke Mandeville Hospital

The Ambulance Station at Stoke Mandeville Hospital will now be served between 0900 and 1500 Monday to Saturday; at other times and on Sundays services 9/9A/9C will call at the Hospital's Main Gate only.

Service 150 - Aylesbury to Milton Keynes

This service will have a new route within Milton Keynes, calling at Jonathans Local Centre in Coffee Hall and finishing at CMK The Point.  Frequent connections are available for customers travelling to Station Square and the service also calls at Leighton Buzzard Rail Station.

In Leighton Buzzard the High Street is reopening to buses, meaning we can drop you off right outside the shops again!  Buses will continue to stop on West Street on Market Days (Tuesday and Saturday) when the High Street will be closed to traffic.

Unfortunately, there are no longer enough people travelling on Sundays. Therefore the 150 will now run Monday to Saturday only.  For Sunday buses between Leighton Buzzard and Milton Keynes see the F70/F77 timetable.

Service 300 – High Wycombe to Aylesbury

There will be small changes to the 300 timetable to help us keep your bus on time.

On Schooldays, certain journeys will extend to Sir Henry Floyd School in Aylesbury, and to the Marlow Hill schools in High Wycombe.

Service 280/X8 – Aylesbury to Oxford

We're increasing the frequency of buses between Thame and Oxford, with the 280 now running up to every 15 minutes. Buses will run until 2300 from Oxford Monday to Saturday and 2130 on Sundays.

Thame Park will continue to be served on school journeys, but at other times all buses will now run directly via Aylesbury Road.

Buses will now run up to every 30 minutes between Thame, Haddenham and Aylesbury.

Service 500 - Aylesbury to Watford

The Service will run every 30 minutes Monday - Saturday. In addition, a brand new Sunday 500 service will be introduced between Hemel & Watford.

Changes in the High Wycombe area

Service 1/1A – High Wycombe to Chesham and Hemel Hempstead

There will be minor timing changes to the Monday to Saturday timetable of 'the One' for both Arriva and Carousel buses to help us keep your bus on time.

On Saturdays the 1 and 1A will each run hourly, making a combined 30 minute frequency between High Wycombe, Amersham, and Chesham Broadway.

Service 30 – High Wycombe to Downley

This service will now run up to every 30 minutes, with the last bus from town now 2105 Monday to Saturday.

Service 31 – High Wycombe to Penn

Buses will now run up to every 30 minutes during peak hours Monday to Friday, and then hourly off-peak and at weekends.

There are slight changes to the times of buses serving Sir William Ramsey and Marlow Hill schools to better meet the start/end of the school day.

Service 32 – Micklefield – Booker

Buses will now run up to every 15 minutes during peak hours Monday to Friday, every 20 minutes off-peak and on Saturdays, and every 30 minutes on Sundays.

Service 33 – Totteridge - Castlefield

We're updating the timetable of this service to help us keep your bus on time.

Service 37 - High Wycombe to Maidenhead

This service will run every hour between High Wycombe, Loudwater, Bourne End and Maidenhead.  New service 37B will run every hour between High Wycombe, Wycombe Marsh and Bourne End; these buses will run via Kingsmead Road replacing Carousel service 35.  Sunday buses will continue to be numbered 37A with no change to the current timetable.

Together Arriva routes 37/37B and Carousel Buses route 36 will give a regular, 15 minute frequency between High Wycombe and Bourne End.

Service 800/850 – High Wycombe to Reading

This service will each run every hour for most of the day Monday to Saturday, giving a combined 30-minute frequency between High Wycombe, Marlow, Henley-on-Thames and Reading.

There will continue to be a more frequent service during weekday peak periods, with buses at times to meet the needs of school and college students.
