Road closure of Portland Hill and Cut Through Lane

On Thursday 13th June 2024, a memorial event will be taking place at the Djanogly Steps on University Park to mark the anniversary of the deaths of students Grace O’Malley Kumar and Barney Webber, and school caretaker Ian Coates.

To facilitate some roads of campus will be closed between 11.30 – 13.30 and as a result hopper buses will be diverted during this period.  Service times remain unaffected.

•    All hopper bus services will divert via Keighton Hill and leave the Campus via South Entrance.  Services will pick up on Keighton Hill, Arts Centre (Stop UN34) during this time.  
•    During these times, we will not be able to serve Portland Hill (Stop UN36) and Library Road (Stop UN32), and the 903 service will be unable to do the loop of University Park. 

These changes have been put in place to try to minimise disruption to the hopper bus services. Passengers are encouraged to ensure they leave plenty of time to make journeys. Departure times will remain the same.
