Road Closure New Road (Llay)

Due to an emergency road closure on Llay New Road (near Llay Cemetery), service 33 is currently diverting. The closure is in both directions and expected to be in place for up to 10 days from 16th March 2026.
Diversions Details
Journeys towards Llay will operate as normal to Bradley Circle, then U-turn onto Park Wall Road, passing Gwersyllt Cricket Club, right at the Underpass roundabout, Mold Road (A541), passing Oak Alyn towards the Holly Bush pub, Llay Road (B5102), Llay Ring roundabout (Llay Welfare Club) then resume normal route.
Journeys from Llay village, at the end of Pentre Street, right onto Llay New Road back towards Llay Ring roundabout (Llay Welfare Club), onto Llay Road (B5102) to the Holly Bush traffic lights, onto Wrexham Road/Mold Road (A541), at the BP Garage onto the High Street in Gwersyllt then Dodds Lane and resume normal route to Wrexham.
