Gorsey Lane Roundabout, Wallasey

On Sundays 2nd / 9th / 16th /23rd June 2024 The Gorsey Lane Roundabout, Wallasey will be closed at its junctions with Gorsey Lane, for Wallasey, the Wallasey Tunnel and Gorsey Lane, for Birkenhead to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. 

Diversions: 

Service 410

• From Clatterbridge and Birkenhead as normal to Birkenhead, Duke Street at Dock Road. Turn Left into Dock Road, (do not continue via Duke Street) then via Dock Road to  the Poulton Bridge Roundabout take the 3rd exit via Poulton Bridge Road, continue onto Mill Lane, to left Marlowe Road and resume normal route to New Brighton.
  Omits Gorsey Lane and Oxton Road.
• From New Brighton as normal to Liscard, Marlowe Road, at Mill Lane, turn right (do not continue via Oxton Road) then via Mill Lane and Poulton Bridge Road to the Poulton Bridge Roundabout, and take the 1st exit via Dock Road, to right Duke Street and resume normal route to Birkenhead and Clatterbridge.
  Omits Oxton Road and Gorsey Lane.

Service 432 

• From Liverpool as normal to (Wallasey) Kingsway Tunnel at the Tunnel Tollbooths (do not veer left to exit at the Gorsey Road Roundabout) but continue via the Wallasey Approach Roads (A59 !) to left A5139 to the Bidston Roundabout and take the 4th exit via A5139 to right where the A5139 forks, then via A5139 to the Poulton Bridge Roundabout and take the 1st exit via Poulton Bridge Road, then via Mill Lane, to left Marlowe Road, and  resume normal routes to New Brighton. 
  Omits Gorsey Lane and Oxton Road. 
• From New Brighton as normal to Liscard, Marlowe Road, at Mill Lane, turn right (do not continue via Oxton Road) then via Mill Lane and Poulton Bridge Road to the Poulton Bridge Roundabout and take the 3rd exit via the A5139 to the Bidston Roundabout and take the 4th exit via A5139 to left where the A5139 forks, then via A5139 to left the Wallasey Approach Roads (A59 !) to the Wallasey (Kingsway) Tunnel and resume normal route to Liverpool.

• From Liverpool as normal to (Wallasey) Kingsway Tunnel at the Tunnel Tollbooths (do not veer left to exit at the Gorsey Road Roundabout) but continue via the Wallasey Approach Roads (A59 !) to left A5139 to the Bidston Roundabout and take the 4th exit via A5139 to right where the A5139 forks, then via A5139 to the Poulton Bridge Roundabout and take the 1st exit via Poulton Bridge Road, to right Poulton Road, to and eventually resume normal route to New Brighton.
