Getting to Radio 1’s Big Weekend by bus
Our guide to travelling to Stockwood Park, Luton on 24, 25 and 26 May
We’re getting ready for an incredible weekend of performances from some of the biggest names in music. No one wants festival goers to travel by using just Blind Faith to see Chase and Status or watching their Clocks during the Coldplay performance – we’ve got the full guide to getting to Radio 1’s Big Weekend by bus.
Travelling from London
Our Greenline 757 express coach service runs up to every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day, seven days per week. Coaches pick up from key central London transport interchanges – View 757 route map.
We’ll be adding extra coaches to provide more seating capacity during Radio 1’s Big Weekend. A single Adult ticket costs £13, which can be purchased on-board using cash or contactless, or via our mobile app. Greenline 757 ticket information.
Coaches will return from Luton Interchange throughout the night – so you can get the most out of every performance.
Travelling from Milton Keynes
Buses F70/F77 leave from directly outside Milton Keynes’ central railway station up to every 30 minutes. The journey is a little over 90 minutes to Luton Interchange. Bus fares are capped at just £2 single for an adult.
We’ll be running additional journeys from 23:00 until the early hours at the end of each night to get festival goers home.

Travelling from Hitchin and Stevenage
Buses 100/101 leave from directly outside Stevenage’s central bus station up to every 20 minutes. The journey is a little over an hour to Luton Interchange. Bus fares are capped at just £2 single for an adult.

Travelling from Watford and St Albans
Service 321 run up to every 30 minutes on Friday and Saturday, and hourly on Sundays. Buses also call at Watford Junction railway station. Bus fares are capped at just £2 single for an adult.
Route 321 stops directly outside Stockwood Park’s main entrance.

Travelling in and around Luton
Our network of services connects most of the town to Luton’s central Interchange. With a great selection of high frequency services, all capped at just £2 Adult single, we’ve got your journey to Radio 1’s Big Weekend covered.
We’ll be running to standard timetables throughout the weekend, with additional capacity being provided on our busiest routes.
Route 321 will continue to serve Stockwood Park’s main entrance for the duration of the festival. Buses leave from Luton Interchange, Stand 8.
We’ll be running additional journeys from 23:00 until the early hours at the end of each night to get festival goers home on these core services: 12, 24 (as far as Leagrave), 27, 32, 321, F70 and Z.
Route A will be running to its standard timetable, running 24/7. Our great team will be on hand to help you get to where you’re going.
Travelling to/from Farley Hill on routes 1 and 4
Due to traffic restrictions for the duration of the festival, we’ll be running routes 1 and 4 along Ashburnham Road, running a clockwise loop of Priestleys, Bolingbrook Road, Whipperley Way, Farley Hill, Farley Farm Road, Whipperely Way, South Drift Way, Whipperley Ring and Long Croft Road.
Unfortunately, we’ll be unable to serve Meyrick Avenue, Russell Street, Dumfries Street or Stanley Street during Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May.
Town centre closures
Bus stops on New Bedford Road (The Galaxy) will be closed after 20:00 on Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May. Please use alternative stops at Luton Interchange for the Z service and evening 27 services.
On the afternoon of Friday 24 May services 828 & 829 will be diverted as follows:
• From Stuart Street
• Right on Cardiff Road
• Proceed along Ashburnham Road
• Long Croft Road
• End of Long Croft Left on to Whipperley Ring
• Procced round the Ring back on to Long Croft Road and terminate.
