Diversion to service X22
Northumberland County Council will be carrying out essential roadworks in the Bedlington Red House Farm area from Monday 27th October to Friday 31st October, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 each day.
As a result of these works, Arriva service X22 will be unable to serve Fallowfield Est / Briardene during these times.
To accommodate the closure, service X22 will divert from Park Road / Green Lane Roundabout via North Seaton Road and North Seaton Crossing, re-joining it’s normal route at Stakeford. This diversion will be in place only during the closure hours. Journeys operating outside of 08:00–16:00 will follow their usual route and serve all regular stops. Diverted journeys will serve all stops on the diversion.
The first journey to divert southbound (towards Newcastle) will be the 07:49 departure from Ashington, with the last at 15:44. Northbound, the first diverted journey will be the 07:25 departure from Newcastle, and the last at 15:05.
