Diversion to services 57A, X8 and X9 Cramlington Village

Northumberland County Council will be carrying out essential roadworks on Village Road High Pit area from Monday 23rd March to Friday 27th March and again Monday 30th March until Thursday 2nd April, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 each night. As a result of these works, Arriva services 57A, X8 and X9 will be unable to serve stops on Northumbrian Road, Village Road and B1505
To accommodate the closure, services will be required to divert as follows:
Service 57A towards North Shields – From Cramlington Manor Walks will operate direct via Dudley Lane to Northumberland Business Park and rejoin normal route, similarly towards Ashington buses will operate direct from Northumberland Business Park to Manor Walks.
Service X8 towards Newcastle – From Cramlington Manor Walks will operate direct via Dudley Lane to Northumberland Business Park and rejoin normal route, similarly towards Blyth buses will operate direct from Northumberland Business Park to Manor Walks.
Service X9 towards Newcastle – From Shankhouse Roundabout will operate via Northumbrian Road and Parkside areas to reach Manor Walks, with journeys towards Blyth following the same route to Shankhouse.
A free one way shuttle service will be in operation between Cramlington Manor Walks and High Pit areas operating the following route. Cramlington Manor Walks – Parkside – Shankhouse Roundabout – B1505 - High Pit – Bay Horse – Southfield Green and Manor Walks.
