DalesBus returns May 2024

Dalesbus is back for 2024! Embark on a picturesque journey with Arriva North East, in partnership with Dalesbus Community Interest Company, as we once again connect the Tees Valley area with the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales. From May 5th to October 20th, immerse yourself in the beauty of the Dales with our services.

Service 831 will whisk you away on Sundays and Bank Holidays from Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington, and Richmond, traversing Swaledale and the iconic Buttertubs Pass en route to Hawes.

Venture on Service 832, also available on Sundays and Bank Holidays, from Hawes to Kirkby Lonsdale, passing the awe-inspiring Ribblehead Viaduct and the charming village of Ingleton, renowned for its Waterfall Walks.

New for 2024, Service 858 will delight travelers with Sunday routes from Darlington, Richmond, and Catterick Garrison to Redmire, continuing through Carperby, Askrigg, and Hawes to Ribblehead Station.

For seamless connectivity, Service 830 offers Sunday connections with trains at Ribblehead on the scenic Settle and Carlisle Railway, facilitating travel down to Richmond via the Buttertubs Pass and Swaledale.

Additionally, Service 859 introduces an afternoon journey between Richmond and Leyburn, granting passengers ample time—2 hours and 45 minutes—to savor the delights of this vibrant market town's shops and cafes.
