Closure of Park Lane (Shiremoor)
Affecting School Services 652 and 656
We have been advised by North Tyneside Council and their contractors, Capita, that they plan to resurface Park Lane in Shiremoor, between Lesbury Avenue and Upper Crone Street. This work will take place between 0800 and 1630 from Monday 4 until Thursday 7 November.
Whereas this work does not affect any of our normal service work, some of our afternoon Scholars Services, which we operate on behalf on Nexus, will be revised as follows:
Service 652 (George Stephenson High School) will operate normal route to Earsdon Road / Lower Crone Street, u-turning at the A186 roundabout, then return via Earsdon Road, then Lesbury Avenue onto Park Lane (southbound), returning to normal route.
The closure will not affect the morning routes of services 652 and 654.
