Christmas lights switch on in Colchester

The Christmas lights switch on will take place in High Street, Colchester between 1700 and 1930 on Wednesday 13 November. Our services are impacted as shown below:

Service 1 Ambrose Avenue to Greenstead will operate via Southway Magdalen Street and Brook Street stopping additionally at Colchester Town Rail Station.

Service 2 Horkesley to Highwoods will operate via Balkerne Hill., Southway, Magdalen Street and Brook Street stopping additionally at Colchester Town Rail Station.

Service 8 will operate via Balkerne Hill and Southway rejoining route at St Botolph’ s Roundabout.
Park and Ride will operate via Balkerne Hill, South Way, Osbourne Street to St John’s Street.

There are also rolling road closures planned for East Hill/ Queen Street between 1800 to 1930 and Head Street between 1715 to 1800.
