Changes to Luton’s services
From 2 June 2024
On Sunday 2 June 2024 we’ll making some small changes to some of our services in Luton. As part of Luton Borough Council's BSIP (Bus Service Improvement Plan) enhancements, we're bringing more buses to many of our services and on others we’re making some small changes to the timetables to help keep buses running on time.
A Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) is a strategic document which describes how Local Transport Authorities (LTAs) and operators in a given area will look to achieve the goals of the National Bus Strategy.
Take a look at the changes to individual services below:
1 & 4 Luton to Farley Hill
As part of Luton Borough Council's BSIP enhancements, we're bringing more buses to Farley Hill in the early morning and late evenings. Buses will continue to run up to every 15 minutes, operating to an improved timetable that should help keep buses running on time.

12 Stopsley to Luton
As part of Luton Borough Council's BSIP enhancements, we're bringing more buses to Stopsley in the early morning and late evenings. Buses will continue to run up to every 15 minutes during the daytime, with additional buses at the busiest times of day, operating to an improved timetable that should help keep buses running on time.

13 Luton to Round Green
We're bringing some refinements to the timetable to help keep buses running as close to their schedule as possible. Buses will continue to run the same number of journeys as current but may depart at different times than they do currently.

23 Luton to Sundon Park
As part of Luton Borough Council's BSIP enhancements, we're bringing more buses to Sundorn in the evenings, and introducing a full Sunday service. Buses will continue to run up to every hour, operating to an improved timetable that should help keep buses running on time.

24/25/26 Luton to Luton and Dunstable Hospital
As part of Luton Borough Council's BSIP enhancements, we're bringing more buses between Luton town centre and Warden Hill. Route 26 will run the same route as 24/25 as far as Bushmead, extending to serve Cromer Way, Weybourne Drive before reaching Warden Hill
Together, routes 24, 25 and 26 will run up to every 20 minutes. Two buses per hour will continue to Bramingham (Sainsbury's), and one bus per hour will extend to Luton and Dunstable Hospital. Additional buses will run during college days to help boost capacity. We're also bringing a full Sunday service to route 24, as well as some additional journeys during the evening to boost connectivity.

27 Luton to Marsh Farm
As part of Luton Borough Council's BSIP enhancements, we're bringing more buses to Marsh Farm in the evenings. Buses will continue to run up to every 12 minutes, operating to an improved timetable that should help keep buses running on time.

28/28B Hockwell Ring to Luton
As part of Luton Borough Council's BSIP enhancements, we're bringing more buses to Hockwell Ring in the evenings. Buses will continue to run up to every 30 minutes, operating to an improved timetable that should help keep buses running on time.

29 Runfold to Luton
As part of Luton Borough Council's BSIP enhancements, we're bringing more buses to Runfold in the evenings. Buses will continue to run up to every 15 minutes, operating to an improved timetable that should help keep buses running on time.

32 Luton to Hockwell Ring
As part of Luton Borough Council's BSIP enhancements, we're bringing more buses to Hockwell Ring on Sunday evenings. Buses will continue to run up to every 30 minutes, operating to an improved timetable that should help keep buses running on time. Buses will also extend to Park Square in Luton town centre.

Service 100/101
Between Luton and Hitchin services 100/101/102 will all operate via Hitchin Road and Stopsley. Service 100 will serve Butterfield Centre and 101 will serve Great Offley. Due to a lack of demand Little Wymondley will no longer be served and Lilley will be served at school times by service 102 only. Luton Airport and Asda in Wigmore Lane will continue to be served by service 100 but going via Luton Interchange. Wigmore Lane will not be served between Crawley Green Road and Ashcroft Road
321 & 721 Luton to Watford
We're bringing some refinements to the timetable to help keep buses running on time, as well as extending more journeys to Watford Hospital following customer requests. Together, both routes will still coordinate to run up to every 15 minutes between Luton and St Albans

F70/F77 Central Milton Keynes to Luton
As part of Luton Borough Council's BSIP enhancements, both routes will now extend to Luton Airport, every day of the week. Running to an improved timetable to boost our timekeeping, buses will continue to connect Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable and Luton up to every 30 minutes combined. To simplify our services, route F70 will serve Tilsworth and Stanbridge, and F77 will serve Stoke Hammond.

802 Luton to Putteridge
We're introducing a new AM journey between Luton town centre and Putteridge High School to help provide more capacity. Timetable available from 2 June 2024.
