Changes to single fares in the Southend zone

From 30 November 2025, we’re updating our single fare structure in the Southend zone to better align prices with the distance travelled.

Fares will be grouped into three distance bands: Short (0–0.5 miles), Medium (0.5–2 miles), and Long (2+ miles).

Short journeys (0–0.5 miles):
Adult single – £2.00
Child single – £1.60
Medium journeys (0.5–2 miles):
Adult single – £2.70
Child single – £2.20
Long journeys (over 2 miles):
Adult and Child singles both capped at £3.00, thanks to the government fare cap.

Just tell your driver where you’re travelling and buy on board.
