Changes to improve Milton Keynes’ buses
From 30th October 2022
From 30th October 2022 we’ll be making a few changes to the Milton Keynes bus network to help speed up some journeys and keep buses running on time. We’ll update our timetables as soon as possible. In the meantime, here’s what we’re changing:
Service 1 - Newport Pagnell to Whitehouse
Service 1 will now operate between Newport Pagnell (Market Hill) and CMK Rail Station, with service 2 extended from Grange Farm to Whitehouse.
Renny Lodge and Tickford End will continue to be served by Uno service C10 and MK Connect.
Services 2/2A - Newport Pagnell to Grange Farm
Service 2 will now run along Dansteed Way, Watling Street, and Portway to Grange Farm, then continue along Longhorn Drive and Barosa Way around Whitehouse and back to CMK.
Lodge Lake and Kensington Drive will continue to be served by our X60 route every hour Monday to Saturday.
Services 3/3A - Magna Park Amazon to Snelshall West
We're increasing the frequency of service 3 to run every 15 minutes between Magna Park, Coachway P&R, and CMK Rail Station. We hope the route into Eagle Farm and Glebe Meadows will begin operating later in the year.
Journeys numbered 3A will continue to run between CMK, Willen, and Walton High School's Brookalnds and Walnut Tree campuses at the start and end of the school day.
Customers travelling between CMK, Westcroft, and Snelshall West should use the revised service 8.
Service 7 - Central Milton Keynes to Wolverton
There will be a small change to the Sunday timetable, with buses running from The Point to the Rail Station every hour.
Service 8 - Wavendon Gate to Westcroft
Service 8 will continue to run up to every 20 mintues between Walnut Tree, CMK, Westcroft, Oxley Park, and Kingsmead. Buses will run through Winterhill and Knowlhill between CMK and Shenley Brook End, replacing service 3 over this part of the route.
Journeys numbered 8A will extend from Westcroft to Snelshall West at shift times. Journeys numbered 9/9A will follow the normal 8/8A route and also call at Walton Hall for The Open University.
Service 150 - Aylesbury to Milton Keynes
We'll be serving Caldecotte Lakes Business Park once the major roadworks at Bow Brickhill are completed. This means there'll be minor changes to the times of most journeys, but no change to the overall frequency.
Our AylesburyPlus ticket zone will be extended to Leighton Buzzard, offering even better value for customers making local journeys from Bierton and Wing or connecting with London Northwestern trains at Leighton Buzzard station.
Service 310 - Magna Park to Wolverton or Bletchley
The current 310 service to Magna Park will be replaced by NEW routes M5 and M6.
Service M5 - Magna Park to Wolverton
We've made changes to our Magna Park shift buses based on stakeholder feedback. This NEW service will run fast between Magna Park, Coachway P&R, CMK, and then follow the number 5 route to Wolverton.
Service M6 - Magna Park to Milton Keynes
We've made changes to our Magna Park shift buses based on stakeholder feedback. This NEW service will run fast between Magna Park and Bletchley's Lakes Estate, and then follow the number 6 route to CMK.
Services 33/X33 - Central Milton Keynes to Northampton
There will be some small changes to the timetable of this service to help keep your bus on time.
