Changes to improve Buckinghamshire’s buses
From 30th October 2022.
From 30th October 2022 we’ll be making a few changes to the Buckinghamshire bus network to help speed up some journeys and keep buses running on time. We’ll update our timetables as soon as possible. In the meantime, here’s what we’re changing:
Service 150 - Aylesbury to Milton Keynes
We'll be serving Caldecotte Lakes Business Park once the major roadworks at Bow Brickhill are completed. This means there'll be minor changes to the times of most journeys, but no change to the overall frequency.
Our AylesburyPlus ticket zone will be extended to Leighton Buzzard, offering even better value for customers making local journeys from Bierton and Wing or connecting with London Northwestern trains at Leighton Buzzard station.
Service 250 - Aylesbury to Milton Keynes
There will be changes to the route and timetable of this service to help keep your bus on time. In Leighton Buzzard buses will serve the High Street on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - the same as service 150.
Services 280/X8 - Aylesbury to Oxford
There will be changes to route and timetable of this service to help keep your bus on time.
Service 500 - Aylesbury to Watford
Route 500 will now run between Aylesbury and Hemel Hempstead only, connecting with NEW service 508 between Hemel, Watford, and Mount Vernon Hospital.
There will be changes to the timetable of most journeys to help keep your bus on time, and to better meet the needs of students travelling to Tring School.
Our AylesburyPlus ticket zone will be extended to Tring, offering even better value for customers making local journeys to Aylesbury and Aston Clinton.
Service 41 - High Wycombe to Great Missenden
UPDATE 30/09/22 - Buckinghamshire Council have stepped in to fund the continued operation of this service on an interim basis while they continue working with bus operators on a long term solution that is financially sustainable and appropriate to post-pandemic levels of demand.
There will therefore be no change to the route or timetable at this point.
Service 35/36/37 – High Wycombe to Bourne End and Maidenhead
There will be small changes to the times of 36B and 36S journeys we recently took over from another operator, to help ensure students arrive on time for the start of the school or college day. There will also be an extra 36B journey on weekday afternoons to better meet the end of the Buckinghamshire College day and make more seats available for students travelling back to High Wycombe.
