Changes to bus times in the Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells area from 7th April 2019

Location: Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells area

We will be making some changes to bus times in the Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells area to improve reliability and to match some services to demand. There will also be an improved evening service to Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

These changes will affect Services 6/6A, 218/219, 277, 281 and 285:

 

6/6A Tunbridge Wells – Paddock Wood – East Peckham – Maidstone

There will be minor changes to the timetable to improve reliability by allowing additional time to overcome regular traffic delays. There is no change to the frequencies.

218/219 Knights Park - Tunbridge Wells Hospital – Tonbridge – North Tonbridge

These services will no longer serve Knights Park due to insufficient use being made of them from that area. They will continue to run between Tunbridge Wells Hospital and North Tonbridge, with minor adjustments to the timetable. Knights Park will continue to be served by Service 277.

277 Tunbridge Wells – Sherwood – North Farm – Knights Park – Tunbridge Wells Hospital

There will be minor changes to the timetable and the evening buses will be extended to and from Tunbridge Wells Hospital to provide a later service for hospital staff and visitors.

281 High Brooms – Tunbridge Wells – Rusthall

There will be minor changes to the timetable to improve reliability by allowing additional time to overcome regular traffic delays. There is no change to the frequencies.

285 Hawkenbury – Forest Road – Tunbridge Wells – Showfields – Ramslye

Due to insufficient use being made of this service we are unable to continue running it. Alternative services are provided by other bus companies.
