Travelling around West Malling
West Malling is a historic market town in Kent, England. Although relatively small, it is packed with fascinating historical buildings, many bearing blue plaques, and the surrounding countryside makes it easy to see why this part of the world is referred to as ‘The Garden of England’.
The fact that West Malling is located just 35 miles from central London, with excellent road and rail links, makes it a popular choice with commuters working in the city. The influx of relatively well-off younger families means that its centre has more in the way of amenities than you might expect for a town of its size.
Arriva buses operate throughout West Malling and can be taken to explore further afield, such as Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone.
