Interested in Arriva's buses in South East England?
If you're interested in Arriva's buses in South East England then you can keep up to date with changes to our vehicles and services by subscribing to one of the enthusiast societies that record all the details each month.
There are three societies that specialise in the areas in which we operate and you can find out more about each one by using the tabs below.
Arriva's buses cover most of the western half of Kent, stretching from Dartford, Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells in the west across to Tenterden and Faversham in the east.
In between, the network covers the Kent Thameside area, the Medway Towns, Sittingbourne and the Isle of Sheppey, Maidstone, Tonbridge and the West Malling area.
Depots at Gillingham, Maidstone, Northfleet, Sittingbourne, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells operate a comprehensive network of local and interurban services while the depot at Dartford is home to a fleet of buses painted in allover red livery for use on Transport for London contracted services in north west Kent and south east London.
The M&D and East Kent Bus Club has been recording our fleet, and that of our predecssor, Maidstone & District Motor Services, since 1952.
As well as the monthly 'Invicta' magazine, the club produces publications covering current and historical subjects, holds local meetings where members can get together to see slide shows and talk about the latest developments, runs day tours to places of bus interest and has an extensive range of photographs for sale.
The club also records details of the other main bus company in Kent, Stagecoach South East, and of all other bus and coach companies in the area.
