Contactless payments make riding the bus more convenient than ever. All you need is a debit or credit card, or a contactless-ready device and you can pay for fares with a tap, making it even easier to get where you need to go in the Kent and Surrey region onboard an Arriva bus.
What is contactless payment?
Contactless payment is a new way to pay for tickets onboard Arriva buses. It lets you use your debit or credit card, or your preferred device, to make instant payments aboard our buses – so you don’t need to look for spare change before your morning commute.
Contactless payments are instant and secure, and you’ll never need to enter your pin code. Simply tap your card or device on the ticket machine and technology does the rest. There’s no minimum spend to use contactless, but there is a maximum of £30.
You can also take advantage of contactless payments on contactless-ready devices, including:
- Apple/Android smartphones and tablets
- Wearable devices, like Fitbit wristbands
Check that your card or device is contactless-ready before you board to benefit from instant, cash-free payments.
