Arriva presents iPad Mini to lucky Prize Draw winner as part of promotion for local Maidstone service
Arriva has presented Maidstone man Trevor Cook with an Apple iPad Mini as the result of a Prize Draw run by the company to promote its Service 89 between Maidstone town centre, Loose, Coxheath and East Farleigh.
The draw featured in a house-to-house leaflet drop to 3,500 homes along the line of route to create awareness of the long-standing twenty-minute service and to give people the chance to win the iPad.
Presenting the prize, Arriva’s Regional Publicity Manager, Richard Lewis, said “It is good to involve the local community in our service promotions and I hope that Trevor will enjoy using his iPad.
“With mobile devices now a must-have for most people, the fitting of free on-board Wi-Fi to an increasing number of our buses and the launch earlier this year of Arriva’s Travel App for smartphones and tablets helps to put us at the forefront of using the latest technology to keep customers informed about our services and to allow them to make the most of their time while travelling on our buses.”
