Changes to bus times and routes in Hemel Hempstead from 1st July 2018

We will be revising our network of services in Hemel Hempstead from 1st July.
We will be revising our local service network in Hemel Hempstead from 1st July.
Timetables will be changing, giving new links across the town and there will be changes to the service numbers for some places.
We will be reinstating larger buses on most journeys.
The changes are:
Service 2: Town Centre – Highfield – Woodhall Farm
This route will be extended beyond the town centre, running to and from Nash Mills and Bennetts End over the existing Service 5 route.
Most frequencies will be unchanged, except that, on Saturday afternoons, buses will run every twenty minutes.
Service 3: Town Centre – Warners End
This service will be linked to the exisiting Service 4 route, giving a through service from Grovehill West and Warners End.
Between the town centre and Warners End, Service 3 will run anticlockwise around the loop, serving Gadebridge, Warners End and then Chaulden before returning to the town and on to Grovehill West.
The Service 4 buses will run in the opposite direction around the loop, serving Chaulden first and then running via Warners End and Chaulden back to the town and on to Grovehill West.
Buses will run in each direction every thirty minutes on Mondays to Saturdays and will continue to run hourly on Sundays.
Service 4: Town Centre – Grovehill West
This service will be extended beyond the town centre to run to Chaulden, Warners End and Gadebridge before returning to the town centre and on to Grovehill West.
Alternate buses will be renumbered as Service 3 and these will run in the opposite direction around the Warners End loop, serving Gadebridge first, then Warners End, Chaulden, the town centre and then back to Grovehill West.
Buses will continue to run every thirty minutes on Mondays to Saturdays and hourly on Sundays.
Service 5: Town Centre – Bennetts End
This service will be replaced by Service 2 which will continue to run between Woodhall Farm and the town centre but which will then be extended via the existing Service 5 route to Bennetts End.
There is no change to the existing frequencies between the town centre and Bennetts End.
