Travelling around Hemel Hempstead
With its wide, pedestrianised lanes (that you just won’t find closer to the capital), lots of green parklands and an excellent high street, Hemel Hempstead is a sizeable commuter town. The pretty old town still has colourful houses and quaint cobbled streets, but there’s plenty here for the more modern visitor too!
If you plan on paying Hemel a visit, there’s plenty to do here whatever you’re interested in. With an ice rink, indoor snow centre and paintball arena, the adrenalin junkies will be perfectly happy, while the manicured lawns of Gadebridge Park ensure that visitors who enjoy the quieter things in life are well catered for.
The travel in Hemel Hempstead is one of its biggest features, with regular coaches to the capital, as well as all manner of shorter journeys to St Albans, Aylesbury, Watford and more, so getting around with Arriva couldn’t be simpler.
