Arriva launches the new look Travel Centre in Hemel Hempstead
The doors to a brand new Arriva Travel Centre in the heart of Hemel Hempstead town centre will open to the public for the very first time on 21st December.
The launch, which will see Arriva move from the Market Square to The Marlowes forms part of a £30m investment programme by Dacorum Borough Council and Hertfordshire County Council which will also include major improvements to the pedestrianised shopping area and bus interchange.
Patrick Sibley, General Manager from Arriva The Shires, commented: “The launch of our new Travel Centre will play a pivotal role in the regeneration of public spaces and infrastructure in Hemel Hempstead.
“By partnering with our esteemed colleagues at Dacorum Borough Council and Hertfordshire County Council to bring this project to life, we believe we will be able to encourage not only greater bus use in Hemel Hempstead, but also bring more shoppers and visitors into the area by offering greater transport links.”
The new Travel Centre will be a hub for any customers seeking advice on their travel options, whilst also selling a range of affordable tickets.
