Definitions and Description
These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of bus tickets (“Tickets”) by you (“You” or “Your”) using the promotional code WEEKLY (“Promotional Code”) on 15th, 16th 17th 18th or 19th May 2023 (“Promotional Dates”) from Arriva UK Bus Limited, incorporated in England & Wales, with company number 2756876 and its registered office address at 1 Admiral Way, Doxford International Business Park, Sunderland, SR3 3XP (“Arriva”). Arriva will treat each order (“Order”) for Tickets by You as an offer by You to purchase the Tickets in accordance with these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions will be binding on You when Arriva accepts your Order.
Subject to these terms and conditions, the Promotional Code will be valid for a discount of £5.00 off weekly Tickets within the West Yorkshire zone https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/buy-tickets/region/yorkshire/zone/ayk006 (“Zone”).
Tickets
Arriva reserves the right to reject any Ticket or Promotional Code which it reasonably believes to be invalid, out of date, stolen, misappropriated, used on a stolen phone or device, cancelled, or if the Ticket is damaged, defaced or otherwise impaired. Tickets are valid only for the dates or period specified when the Order is accepted by Arriva. Promotional Codes are valid only for the Promotional Dates and within the Zone as specified in these terms and conditions.
Promotional Codes
To place an Order for Tickets using a Promotional Code, You must:
(1) Create an account on the Arriva UK Bus website www.arrivabus.co.uk (or another URL which may be notified to You by Arriva) or download and create an account on the Arriva UK Bus App https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/arriva-uk-bus/id1496877823 or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arriva.bus&hl=en&gl=US&pli=1 or log into Your existing account;
(2) Enter the Promotional Code set out in these terms and conditions in to the ‘Promo Codes’ section at the Tickets checkout; and
(3) Ensure You use the Promotional Code on one of the Promotional Dates and on Tickets and within the Zone for which the Promotional Code is valid.
Promotional Codes are valid only for one (1) use per customer and all travel is subject to hours of operation and the Arriva UK Bus Conditions of Carriage available here www.arrivabus.co.uk/help/conditions-of-carriage (“Conditions of Carriage”). Tickets and Promotional Codes are subject to availability and nothing in these terms and conditions shall be deemed to require Arriva to accept any Order for Tickets.
Each Promotional Code can only be redeemed a total of five hundred (500) times across all customers on a first come first served basis. A Promotional Code cannot be used in conjunction with or in addition to any other discount, voucher, prize, offer promotion or concession rate.
It is Your responsibility to ensure that You have used a secure email address (if needed) or are using an appropriate phone/device for receipt of any Tickets. It is Your responsibility to familiarise Yourself with and ensure You comply with the Conditions of Carriage and Arriva UK Bus website terms of use, available here https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/website-terms-of-use (“Terms of Use”). Arriva reserves the right to refuse carriage on its bus services for failures to comply with the Conditions of Carriage. In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions and the Conditions of Carriage or Terms of Use, the Conditions of Carriage or Terms of Use (as applicable) will take precedence.
Revocation and Refund Policy
Arriva reserves the right to revoke without notice or liability any Tickets which it reasonably believes have been obtained or used in any fraudulent manner or if You fail to comply with these terms and conditions or the Conditions of Carriage. Arriva may amend these terms and conditions or cease to offer Tickets for sale or Promotional Codes for use at any time. Tickets are only refundable in accordance with the relevant Arriva refund policy which can be found by visiting the Arriva Help Portal, available here https://help.arrivabus.co.uk/faqs/.
Liability
Arriva will not be responsible for any loss or damage to Tickets caused by theft or misappropriation. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to limit or exclude Arriva’s liability for personal injury or death caused by its (or its personnel’s) negligence or fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Amendment, Suspension or Termination
Arriva reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the availability of a Promotional Code at any time. Where a Promotional Code is no longer available for use, Arriva will notify You, if You attempt to use it, via an error message “Promo code is not valid” in the ‘Promo Codes’ section at the Tickets checkout.
Personal Data
Personal data collected when You use a Promotional Code to place an Order for Tickets will be handled in accordance with the Arriva UK Bus privacy policy. For more information on how Arriva uses your data, please review the policy, available here www.arrivabus.co.uk/privacy-policy.

Variation
Arriva may change these terms and conditions from time to time and You will be deemed to accept such changes in any Ticket purchases subsequently made. Any changes will not affect Ticket purchases made prior to the changes taking effect.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England & Wales and any dispute arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
Statutory Rights
As a consumer You have certain statutory rights regarding statements made in public by Arriva or its representatives, the repair or return and replacement of defective or misdescribed goods and the performance of services, as well as claims in respect of losses caused by Arriva’s negligence or failure to carry out its obligations. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects those statutory rights.
These terms and conditions are intended to be consistent with Your statutory rights and nothing in them is intended to impose on You any duty or liability additional to those specified in or permitted by applicable statutes and regulations. If You would like a copy of applicable statutes and/or regulations, these can be obtained from the Office of Fair Trading.
