Redevelopment of St Margaret’s Bus Station

From 31st December 2020 St Margaret’s Bus Station will close for redevelopment for approximately 18 months. Services using St Margaret’s Bus Station will be relocated to the nearby City Centre bus stops. More information can be found on our website at Midlands News.

Closure of Burton High Street affecting service X38 from 4th Jan 2021

Maidstone P&R will be temporarily suspended from Tuesday 22nd December 2020 until further notice

Following the announcement to introduce new national lockdown restrictions, Maidstone Park & Ride will be temporarily suspended from Tuesday 22nd December 2020 until further notice. The London Road and Willington Street car parks will be closed during this time.

Closure of Queensway in Dunstable affecting services 31, A and Z from 11th Jan 2021

Emergency timetables introduced in Wrexham

Wrexham Depot update. Due to the temporary closure of our Wrexham depot, emergency timetables are operating on services 1, 3, 5, 7, 12, 14, 21, 27, 33 and 41A (also X51 from Rhyl and Arriva Midlands 2, 2A & 2C). Services 8, 11, 21A, and 35 remain suspended. Sunday service will not be running 24/0

Changes to service 6 Stevenage to Poplars

We’re making changes to our service 6 between Stevenage and Poplars from 31st January 2021. Buses will no longer serve The Paddocks and will instead run along the full length of Wigram Way.

Closure of Stoplatch in Shrewsbury affecting some services from 18th Jan 2021

Closure of Holbrook Road in Alvaston affecting services 1, 1A and F1 from 25th Jan

Holbrook Rd will be closed between 09.30 and 18.30 each day from 25th Jan to 15th Feb 2021. Services 1, 1A and F1 will be unable to serve Holbrook Rd and will be diverted via Shardlow Rd and Field Ln. The nearest bus stops will be Bembridge Dr for 1/1A and Field Ln for F1.

Minor change to service 74 Nuneaton to Coventry from 27th Jan

From Wednesday 27th January, the 1520 school day only service 74 bus will change to start from St Joseph’s RC School at 1515, then run via St. Thomas More School at 1525 and Nuneaton Bus Station at 1535, before continuing via the current times.

Temporary suspension of Harlescott Park and Ride in Shrewsbury

Harlescott Park and Ride will be suspended after the last journey on Friday 29th January until further notice. Passenger numbers using the service are very low and falling due to the lockdown. Shropshire Council will continue to review the situation in line with government guidance.

Wrexham depot re-opening on 31st January

Newbridge landslide affecting routes 2, 2A and 2C

Services 2, 2A and the morning 2C (Oswestry – Wrexham) are unable to serve Whitehurst Pentre and Newbridge bus stops due to a landslide. Buses are diverted between Chirk and Cefn Mawr via the bypass.

Derby Park and Ride service changes from Saturday 30th January

Derby’s P&R Saturday timetable will be changed to run every 30 minutes from 30th January. This change has been implemented to provide a service for the public attending the NHS vaccination centre at Pride Park. For the latest timetable, go to Midlands News.
