Arriva cuts the cost of springtime bus travel for routes 800 & 850
The cost of travelling by bus between High Wycombe and Reading will be slashed from this April, as Arriva announces major savings for people hopping on-board routes 800 and 850.
From Sunday 1st April until Saturday 30th June, Arriva will be offering route specific day savers at just £4 and weekly tickets costing £14, allowing passengers the opportunity to travel more, for less, this spring.
Simon Finnie, area managing director for Arriva, commented: “We’re committed to providing great transport at even greater prices, and with these promotional fares we hope we’ll encourage many more people to save themselves the hassle of driving, fuelling cars, or paying for parking, by taking the stress-free, affordable option of boarding an Arriva bus.
“These flexible multi-journey tickets will allow passengers to hop-on and off as many times as they want across the 800 and 850 route throughout the duration of their ticket. They offer excellent value for money for anyone travelling via Shiplake, Binfield Heath, Dunsden Green and Caversham on the 800, or Wargrave and Twyford on the 850.
“We really hope that with special fares we are able show local communities that we are dedicated to fulfilling their travel needs, and appreciate them choosing to travel with Arriva.”
The 800 and 850 buses provide regular links between High Wycombe and Reading up to every 20 minutes throughout the day.
Tickets are available to purchase across the length of the route on-board or via Arriva’s m-ticket, which allows you to buy and store tickets on your mobile phone.
