Travel Shop Consultant (Part Time) Luton



Based in Luton Town Centre, you will provide excellent customer service for all those requiring travel information.


You will provide accurate and detailed information, issue tickets and bookings regarding all aspects of the shop with Arriva and various agency products.  You will also accurately handle all monies collected with the use of the electronic till and reconciliation with daily banking totals.

Proven customer service experience, including cash handling and being able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and consideration to our customers’ needs are all essential.   You must also be computer literate, have good numerical skills, high attention to detail and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.  A good local geographical knowledge would be advantageous. Previous travel shop experience would be a distinct advantage, although full training will be given.

This is a part time position working a minimum of 8 hours a week. The centre is open 7 days a week from 7am – 6pm Monday – Saturday and 11 – 5 on Sunday. Shifts will predominately be based around weekend working but full flexibility on the hours worked is required. The position also offers good overtime opportunities to meet seasonal business needs.”
