Regional Travel Shop Manager
Based in Leicester with travel to Milton Keynes, Luton and Telford
Arriva Midlands and Arriva The Shires, part of the Deutsche Bahn group, has over 3,500 employees operating 1,017 buses across 17 depot locations from across the West and East Midlands, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. As customers are our priority, we are focusing on continually improving service quality and customer satisfaction and are looking for a Regional Travel Shop Manager to join us on our journey.
You will transform the Travel Shops into sales and marketing hubs, ensuring optimal sales and the delivery of key marketing objectives e.g. App downloads, use of M- and e-tickets etc.
The successful candidate will be a sales and customer focused person, who is great at people management and translating marketing and sales strategy into effective programmes which drive measurable results. You will need to demonstrate experience in retail sales, have proven ability in translating marketing/sales strategies into effective sales programmes and have experience of developing and delivering an improved ‘in-shop’ customer experience.
You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) as well as strong IT skills. Effective organisational skills and the ability to lead and manage teams and to work flexibly are all essential.
