An opportunity has arisen for an Inspector to be based at the Green Line Coach Terminal, working 20 hours 2 days per week. 

Requirements

The individual will report directly to the Regional Marketing Manager and liaise with senior management, local depot teams and the customer service department.  There is also a requirement to liaise with external organisations which include; Westminster City Council, Met Police, local businesses and TfL.

The main purpose of the role is to cover the supervisor role at the Green Line Coach Terminal, Bulleid Way and Buckingham Palace Road, Victoria between 08:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs and at additional times when requested.  You will supervise access to stops, arrivals and departures of coaches allowed to use the terminal, and monitor the operation of the Green Line services, liaising with depots to ensure smooth operation of services and advise customers of delays and cancellations.

As part of the role you will liaise with coach drivers who do not have agreement to use the terminal for payment of a specified contribution, subject to available capacity and where capacity is not available, advise drivers to leave the terminal.

In addition to the supervision of the terminal you will be required to assist with enquires made by members of the public, and support the sales office as required and assist with customer enquires the sales office cannot resolve.

As part of the role you may be required to carry out coach service supervision at other locations at times where the operation of services into Victoria is affected.

The ideal candidate will have the relevant experience and be highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills. They will be able to demonstrate proven organisational skills and the ability to resolve situations using an efficient and professional approach.
