We want travelling on our buses to be easy for everyone, which is why we’re rolling out contactless technology on all our services in the Beds and Bucks region early next year. With a tap of your card or device, you can pay for journeys of any price (up to £30) instantly – making it even easier to get where you need to go.
When will it be available in my area?
Contactless is coming to all Arriva buses, and we’re rolling out the technology an area at a time. Check when you can expect it on your local buses below:

What is contactless payment?
New to contactless? We’re happy to report the technology is simple and easy to use. All you need is a contactless-enabled debit or credit card, which you tap on the ticket machines onboard our buses. Payment is instant and secure, and you can pay for journeys of any price (up to £30) no matter when or where you’re travelling with us.
The great thing about contactless is it’s available on a range of Apple and Android devices, so you can still pay to board the bus even if you’ve forgotten your wallet. Lots of devices are contactless-ready, including:
