Armed Forces Day Terms and Conditions

  1.  “Arriva” shall mean Arriva UK Bus Limited of 1 Admiral Way, Doxford International Business Park, Sunderland SR3 3XP.
  2. The offer is for free travel on Arriva bus services during the Promotional Period in the following regions:
    (a) Arriva Midlands: [https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/buy-tickets/region/midlands], 
    (b) Arriva Beds and Bucks [https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/buy-tickets/region/beds-and-bucks],
    (c)  Arriva Herts and Essex [https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/buy-tickets/region/herts-and-essex] ,
    (d)  Arriva Kent and Surrey [https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/buy-tickets/region/kent-and-surrey],
    (e)  Arriva Yorkshire [https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/buy-tickets/region/yorkshire]; and 
    (f) Arriva North East [https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/buy-tickets/region/north-east]  
    (g) Arriva North West [https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/buy-tickets/region/north-west] 
    (h) Arriva Wales [https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/buy-tickets/region/wales]   
    (the “Offer”).
  3. “Promotional Period” shall mean 29 June 2024.
  4. The Offer is only open to serving Armed Forces personnel (both regular and reservists), veterans and cadets.
  5. To redeem this Offer, you will need to show the driver your Armed Forces identification card, Armed Forces Veteran identification card or MOD issued Veteran’s Badge. The driver has the right to refuse free travel to any individual who is unable to display the appropriate identification as set out in this condition 5.
  6. There are no restrictions on the number of journeys that can be made using the Offer during the Promotional Period, however, all travel is subject to service availability, vehicle capacity and timetable restrictions. 
  7. The Offer is strictly subject to the Arriva terms and conditions of carriage [https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/help/conditions-of-carriage].
  8. Individuals are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon participating in the Offer.
  9. The Offer may not be used in conjunction with or in addition to any other discount voucher, prize, offer, promotion or concession rate.
  10. Arriva reserves the right to amend, terminate or suspend the Offer at any time should circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary to do so.
