Arriva Buses Wales will operate several services currently run by Padarn from Saturday 31 May 2014, including services in Bangor, Maesgeirchen, Llanberis and across to Beaumaris on Anglesey. We will offer our full range of multi journey tickets, and will honour any Padarn monthly tickets currently held by customers.
Our priority is the customers and local communities in North Wales who will be adversely affected by Padarn no longer operating bus services in their area. As a local operator we are pleased to work with the local authorities at short notice to continue to provide bus services, which are often vital for many communities.
Padarn services 6/6A, 53/56/57/58 and 85S will be operated by Arriva Buses Wales from Saturday 31st May, with only slight changes to the current timetables.
The 75 service, will continue to operate at 8:15 from Maesgeirchen to Park Menai via the bus station (M to F) and a 15:20 from Vardre to Maesgeirchen via the bus station (M to F). Our existing 78 service (Maesgeirchen to Bangor) serves the 75 route, and will continue to run and serve those customers who used to catch the Padarn 75 service.
